My first healing in Christian Science was of tonsillitis; I had been operated on for the trouble, but it persisted. With one absent treatment in Christian Science I was permanently cured. Heavy colds and nasal catarrh, recurring each winter and lasting from six to eight weeks, were overcome when I realized that Love has no morbid thoughts.
From childhood I was subject to severe liver attacks which twice resulted in jaundice. Massage and baths did not heal me; but shortly after coming into Christian Science, and while receiving treatment for another condition, I was healed of this trouble; and I have never had an attack since.
I am very grateful also for the healing of alopecia. I suffered for years from this, invariably as the result of mental depression. After one week's absent treatment in Christian Science hair began to grow on all the bald patches.
