Truly, "the heart grows rich in giving." With an overflowing heart filled with gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine, I am sincerely grateful, and wish to give my testimony so that it may be of help to others.
The healing which stands out to me most of all is the healing of my father of rheumatism in a severe form, with other conditions which came with it. He was residing in a small town in Canada, and knew very little of Christian Science, having attended church only a few times. The family with whom he makes his home wrote to me stating his serious condition; and I answered at once, asking him if he would like to have Christian Science treatment. With his consent absent treatment was given by a practitioner in this city, and in about ten days he was healed. That was about seven years ago; since then he has also laid off glasses. He is very active and about his work every day, although past seventy seven years of age. He relies entirely on Christian Science.
I myself have been healed of a severe case of gallstones, influenza, a congested condition of the lungs, and ptomaine poisoning once with the help of a practitioner and another time by reading the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. I have also been healed of a fallen arch, constipation, hemorrhages, and neuralgia.
