More than seven years ago I began the study of Christian Science, trying to find healing for a loved one. At the time I did not think I had any need of healing for myself, having always been well from a material point of view. But after studying the Lesson-Sermons daily and attending church service for about a year, I found myself healed of constipation, bronchitis, sick headaches, and cankers in the mouth, all of which I had thought I should have to endure through life, as materia medica could relieve them only temporarily. After these healings I felt the truth of these words of Scripture: "Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."
As my understanding grew, I became a member of a branch church and of The Mother Church. I also received class instruction. I am grateful for these blessings, and for the fact that I was willing to accept Christian Science when it was presented to me. Christian Science has helped me in many business problems, such as selling property and securing employment. With many others I am grateful to the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving to the world this demonstrable religion.— White Bear Lake, Minnesota
