After all the good I have received since I became a student of Christian Science, I feel it my duty and privilege to send this testimony.
In 1919, while living in the United States, I received my first healing, though at that time I knew nothing at all of Christian Science. Through the kind help of a practitioner I was completely healed of heart trouble in one week, though a well-known heart specialist had pronounced the disease incurable. After some months I came back to Holland and later went to Australia. During my stay there I received many other healings, the outstanding ones being of colds, influenza, a sprained arm, and the habit of smoking. Also, in my home, my wife and our daughter have had many healings; the latter was healed in one day of a severe attack of measles.
I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good, to Mrs. Eddy, who founded Christian Science, and to the practitioners who helped me often, faithfully and patiently.— The Hague, Holland.
