Christian Science was presented to me when it was most needed, and when it seemed as if I had no way to turn, no one to whom I could go for employment, due to false appetites for alcohol and tobacco, which had held me in bondage for a period of twenty years. Lack, disappointment, discontent, and hate, all seemed to bind me. Christian Science awakened me, and within three months I was completely healed of the smoking, drinking, and swearing habits. Then into my life came happiness, contentment, harmony, and love.
Needless to say, employment was obtained, and in place of lack there is now abundance, and a realization of the omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience of God. In the Scriptures we read, "He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."
I am indeed very happy to say that I am now a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church. I am also happy to add that I am most grateful for class instruction, which enables me to understand more of this great revelation which makes us free from sin and disease. — New York, New York.
