In "Christian Healing" (p. 10) our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says: "Let us remember that God—good—is omnipotent; therefore evil is impotent. There is but one side to good,—it has no evil side; there is but one side to reality, and that is the good side."
Out of his rich experience in the Christian life, Paul wrote these immortal words: "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God." As we go forward in life with this blessed truth in our consciousness, we are able to see how all things are working for good to us. When clouds and dangers seem thick, we may not always acknowledge this truth, but just as certainly as the sun is shining, so is God's law of good always in operation.
It makes no difference whether the problem be physical, moral, or financial, if we confidently and unreservedly accept the truth of being, we shall see its beautiful unfolding in purification, strength, and healing. If, instead of harboring discouragement, we realize that difficulties furnish opportunities to prove more of God's law of good, we shall glorify Him in the midst of these experiences.
