Before I heard of Christian Science, two specialists had told me that my eyesight was so defective that I should always have to wear glasses. After reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for a few months, I began to see that everything which God has made is perfect; that He is the only creator, and that He preserves and protects His creation. The glasses were laid aside, and during the past nine years I have never felt a need for them.
Another very beautiful healing was experienced when I was thrown onto the road by the sudden starting of a tramcar. The back of my head was cut, and I was taken home suffering from concussion. A practitioner was called, and I shall always remember the peace and calm which filled our home that night. The next day it developed that my arm and leg were damaged, but the practitioner was told and within an hour there was complete freedom. The head wound healed within a week, and there was no further discomfort.
I have had many other healings for which I am sincerely grateful. I am also truly grateful for the loving help of practitioners, for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church.
