I am very happy to be one of the thousands who are having life "more abundantly" because Christian Science is making known and available the truth which Jesus promised would make us free.
About ten years ago the availability of God's power to heal the sick was made known to me. During an acute attack of kidney trouble I gave my consent for my sister to call a Christian Science practitioner, and in a few minutes I experienced relief from pain. About two weeks later I had a similar spell. I wired the same practitioner, and within an hour this terrible pain left and has never returned. This was the beginning of more abundant life for me.
Words could not describe the fear, confusion, resentment, and sense of the futility of existence which seemed to govern me then and the contrasting sense of hope and peace experienced the first time I went to a Christian Science Sunday service. This hope has not died and it cannot die, for it is the hope that purifies until we see God as infinite Life, Truth, and Love.
