I wish humbly to express my gratitude for Christian Science. It means everything to me. I began the study of its teachings six years ago, and it was as though a new world had opened to me. It has helped me to stand and listen for the "still small voice" of Truth many times when to human sense I know it would have been impossible for the problems to work out harmoniously, as they did. Many times the journey of the children of Israel out of Egypt, as given in the Bible, and Mrs. Eddy's explanation of it in Science and Health (p. 566) have been a real inspiration.
Christian Science is teaching me daily to rely more on God, and less on material sense. It supports me physically, mentally, and spiritually each time a need arises. I learn to think and say, "Not my will, but thine, be done;" and oh, the joy and peace this has brought many times! The gratitude I feel toward our church is unbounded for the wonderful lessons I am learning in it by serving the Cause of Christian Science. My work in the Sunday school among the children is a work of love and service.
I am truly grateful for all the physical healings I have received, and they have been many; but to me the greatest blessings have been the reaching out to see man as he really is and the refusal to be mesmerized by the false concepts of man as the world sees him.
