It is with sincere gratitude for the many blessings that Christian Science has brought into my life that I give this testimony.
I first heard of Christian Science in 1910, but it was not until 1915 that in my extremity I turned to God and was healed of a severe nervous breakdown. I did not, however, realize the full meaning of this glorious truth until I again turned for help at a time of domestic discord, when I was living in Canada.
My only child had been taken from me to some unknown destination. Through the patient work of Christian Science practitioners I was led to obtain legal custody of her, and then, while her address was still unknown to me, to cross to Europe, and a year later, through the work of Christian Science alone, to recover her in Switzerland.
