On first hearing of Christian Science, how many people ridicule this wonderful religion, as I did! But on gaining an understanding of God as Father-Mother, as explained in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, how grateful we become!
The problem of unemployment was overcome through treatment and the study of the statement in "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy (p. 307), "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies;" also of the hymn,
"Day by day the manna fell:
O, to learn this lesson well."
