It is with a grateful heart that I give my testimony, hoping it may turn someone to God, our great Physician, who "healeth all thy diseases."
I had many healings and proofs of God's care before taking up the study of Christian Science. In 1932 I began treatment with a practitioner for what the doctor diagnosed as cancer of the throat. My healing was not instantaneous, but rather slow, taking six months. There was much work to be done, as both my husband and I had much fear and doubt; but the practitioner worked faithfully, trying to make me understand the unreality of my belief. I am grateful that through this healing I got more understanding and realized so much more the unreality of disease. This healing has been permanent.
I have also had healings of typhoid fever, influenza, colds, a swelling in my side, and of grief at the passing on of a son in 1927. I had a wonderful healing of weak eyes after wearing glasses for fifteen years. This healing came from my own study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and through a greater understanding of spiritual man, God's man.
