BE GLAD FOR GOOD TODAY

From the October 1938 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Are you afraid? Then love,
For Love doth cast out fear.
And are you poor? Then count
Your blessings ever here.

Or are you sick? Then know
That Truth is nigh to heal.
Unhappy, too? Then thank
Your God—His presence feel.

Alone? Dismayed? Then sing,
For joy is yours alway;
And nothing can you lack.
Be glad for good today!
