It has long been my desire to express gratitude through these pages for what the truth, as revealed by Mary Baker Eddy, has brought to me.
More than twelve years ago I had a physical healing. Much time and money had been spent on physicians for treatment for nervousness and stomach disorder; and while I have nothing but praise for these men who work to help humanity to the best of their knowledge, I am indeed grateful to have found in God the true Physician.
The healing was accomplished in ten days. One morning during that time, as I started to read the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, the thought came to me, "How wonderful that I don't have to make an appointment, nor yet wait my turn to see this new physician, but right where I am, and now, is He!" Since that time this has been proved, for wherever I am the one Physician is with me. The understanding of God as Mind, which enables one to correct wrong thinking, has been a source of great strength.
