Although I did not take up the study of Christian Science for healing, but because it appealed to me as a most practical and logical religion and one that opened the Scriptures to me, I have experienced many healings.
A case of hemorrhoids was overcome after I started to attend the Sunday and Wednesday evening services of the Christian Science church. Later, I was healed of astigmatism through the loving help of a practitioner, and was enabled to lay aside glasses, after wearing them for five years. The healing took place over six years ago, and I have not had any return of the trouble, even though I read three or four times as much as formerly.
For these healings, and for the protecting care which I have received from the study and practice of Christian Science, I wish to express my gratitude, but I think I am most thankful for the peace of mind and the release from fear which have taken place in my consciousness since I began its study.
