When mortal sense would cause our feet to stray,
And blind our eyes to all that's good and free,
Lead Thou our steps away from error's sway,
And, through Thy spirit, make our eyes to see.
Under the shadow of Thy covering wing
We are secure from pestilence and pain.
Neither shall terror come, nor deadly thing
Cause us to fear, for Love alone doth reign.
Lead us, O Father, into Truth's clear day.
Help us to know, when earth's temptations call,
Thou, Father-Mother, watchest o'er our way;
There's nought to fear, for Thou art All-in-all!
