I am grateful for the understanding of the Bible which Christian Science has given me. The authorized Christian Science literature and lectures are a wonderful help, and our Hymnal has been a great comfort and guide to me.
I am grateful for the fuller realization of the truth which came to me with the healing of a mental breakdown. At that time my father passed on, and I resigned my membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. But Truth did not give me up. I was away from my office work for only six weeks, and although I lost my position and had to accept less responsible duties, error's attempts to humiliate me only gave me the opportunity to express some of the treasures Truth had given me. Since then desirable positions in the same office have been offered me. A better home also unfolded for us, just where and when we needed it. It is a joy to have been able to encourage others who have been having difficulties to meet.
I am very grateful for the faithful work which was done for me in Christian Science, for the understanding that came to me, and for the demonstration of returning to the church services. It was not easy, but it was a beautiful experience. I am again a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church.
