I am giving this testimony in gratitude for the many loving testimonies that have come to me through the Christian Science periodicals, and because of the good I have received from Christian Science, which came into my life fifteen years ago.
At that time I was greatly in need of spiritual light. I was living in the same house with people who were interested in Christian Science, and who had a sister who was a student of Science. They all expressed so much love and kindness to me that it gave me a great desire to know what Christian Science is. After reading two Christian Science Sentinels I knew it was just what I wanted. As time passed the desire grew stronger and I longed to attend a service in a Christian Science church.
Then came the suggestion: What will the members of my family think, and say, if I begin to study Christian Science! I was very much troubled about this for several days; but one morning the thought, Why not leave it with God? came to comfort me. A few days later I realized how peaceful and happy I had been and knew I was healed of this fear. The following Sunday I attended the Christian Science service with these friends; and I have been attending ever since.
