Those who love Christian Science as much as I do, cannot study very long without feeling the joyful desire to share with others the blessings which Christian Science has brought to them. It is therefore with a heart full of gratitude and love that I submit the following experiences.
The textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, has always been in our home. It lay on the top shelf of our bookcase unopened and unused. Several times, when a very young girl, I would open the book and try to understand its words. Somehow I had heard that Christian Science heals, and I longed to be rid of headaches, constipation, and winter colds.
The opportunity to learn of this Science arrived. At the beginning of my third year of high school an internal physical discord manifested itself, and I asked my mother to telephone a Christian Science practitioner for relief. This call was made, lovingly answered, and absent treatment given. In two days all was harmonious. A beautiful healing had occurred, and I resolved to find out just how it had taken place.
