From the April 1943 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Are the lectures on Christian Science being attended by a good percentage of people who have not heard many such lectures? Are the members of each branch church, under whose auspices a lecture is given, inviting their neighbors and friends to attend and sometimes helping them to do so? Is the public generally, including the strangers in the community, being informed of the time and place of the lecture and invited to attend it? If so, this is as it should be. A Christian Science lecture is designed primarily for giving information concerning this religion.
