For the many blessings that Christian Science has brought into my life, I have waited too long to express my gratitude in writing.
Having been reared in a Christian Science home and having been a student of this Science for many years, I am able to testify to the fact that an understanding of God, gained through Christian Science, heals one of physical disorders, as well as every other inharmony that seems to invade daily experience.
I have had many healings, too numerous to tell; however, I should like to tell of one healing for which I am extremely grateful. One morning while I was cleaning clothes with a highly explosive gasoline, the friction caused the gasoline to ignite, and the explosion blew me through a door and into the yard. Although my clothes were completely burned off, I was able to walk out of the flames that were coming through the door of the house, and put out the flames on my body. A practitioner was called immediately, and with her help the pain was overcome before a doctor, who was called in obedience to state laws, arrived.
