Behold how good it is for men
To dwell in love and peace!
Who loves another as himself
Has found his own release
From strife and anger, from the woe
Of separation's pain.
Hatred is death, but he who loves,
In newness lives again.
Oh, be not buried in the grave
Of hatred and despair;
Arise, and find in living Love
The answer to all prayer.
Love is the cloud that leads by day—
The guiding fire by night.
Through Love alone earth's darkness yields
To God's eternal light.
