As the Christ, Truth, fills our consciousness, we recognize God as the only power, presence, and activity. Thus man, by reflection, expresses dominion over all that is unlike good.
In 1943 I became an associate at the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium in San Francisco. For this experience, including the love that was constantly expressed there, I am sincerely grateful.
On one occasion, while I was serving there, four of us went bicycle riding, and I lost my purse at a place where many people were passing. Together we knew that while money is merely a medium of exchange, supply is of God; therefore it cannot be lost, nor can man, the reflection of Truth, take anything from another. Soon we saw the purse lying upon the lawn.
