REJOICING

From the May 1945 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Rejoicing in the light which guides my way,
And thus beholding God's eternal day,
I feel a mighty power which shall endure;
I therefore live in quietness—secure.

No more shall sorrow grow where healing peace
Has brought from pain and sickness sure release.
Through present proof I know that life is free
To those who dwell in light continually.

I shall renew my song of steadfast praise,
And reach through humble prayer the radiant ways
Of gratitude's unfailing recompense.
I shall rejoice in God's omnipotence.
