Testimonies of Healing

A deep sense of gratitude and joy is...

From the June 1945 issue of The Christian Science Journal

A deep sense of gratitude and joy is mine as I recall a beautiful healing of what the medical profession would call blood poisoning.

While I was working on the hedge in the yard a thorn lodged in my thumb. At first I considered this of no consequence, but shortly thereafter the entire hand became swollen and inflamed, and I began to experience great pain which extended to the arm.

This condition seemed so real to me that I was unable to make much progress. Becoming alarmed at suggestions of amputation, I called for the services of an experienced Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly and faithfully helped to work out this severe problem.
