In 1916 Christian Science was presented to me and I read the textbook eagerly because my need was great. My daughter, then ten years old, had suffered since babyhood from ozena, a so-called incurable disease, and had been given up to die. Christian Science healed her completely and permanently, although we studied and worked for two years before she was entirely free.
I myself needed physical healing, for although I had been through two operations I never was well until Christian Science healed me. Especially outstanding was the healing of prolapsus and, at another time, the healing of a serious kidney trouble, through mental surgery alone. Some of the healings I have had were mentioned in a testimony of mine in the Christian Science Sentinel of June 19, 1920.
My son was healed of diseased tonsils and adenoids and later experienced an instantaneous healing of a broken wrist. A daughter was instantly healed of a bad goiter, and another experienced painless childbirth.
