With sincere gratitude to God for the many blessings which I have received since learning of Christian Science, I write this testimony.
Some thirty years ago, after all material means had failed to benefit a badly broken arm and wrist from which I had suffered for more than a year, I was healed by reading the textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy.
At that time I knew nothing of Christian Science. A kind woman offered to lend me her textbook for a day, and assured me that I would be benefited by reading it. I read for several hours that night, and awakened the next morning healed. Soon afterward I purchased the book and began the study of the Lesson-sermons as given in the Christian Science Quarterly.
