Realizing that the most important, the most vitalizing influence in my life has been the teaching of Christian Science, I wish to express my gratitude for the continuous flow of blessings that has come to me through the years.
I have always been particularly grateful that the first healings came as the direct result of reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. Before completing the final chapters, a condition of chronic colitis and the habits of smoking and social drinking dropped away so naturally that it was not until reading the final chapter on Fruitage that I realized that I, too, had been healed.
Another outstanding healing was that of tumor. At the time, the condition was diagnosed by specialists and an immediate operation was advised. My husband, who was not a Christian Scientist, agreed as we were returning home from the hospital that I might first try Christian Science treatment. A practitioner was called at once, and in less than three hours the growth was painlessly passed. The healing has been permanent.
