It gives me great joy to testify to the fact that solely through the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and other writings by Mary Baker Eddy, the following healings and benefits have come to me and mine. The one exception is my first healing, which was accomplished through the help of a Christian Science practitioner.
The healing of adhesions, which had resulted from a surgical operation and for which it was believed there was no cure except by further surgery, came after an earnest conversation with a practitioner who then gave me a Christian Science treatment. In this hour the healing was effected, and it has been permanent.
Sick headaches disappeared when resentment was replaced with a greater degree of compassion and a more loving concept of and regard for my fellow man. A dentist who was caring for my teeth believed a serious condition existed, and before proceeding with the work he advised having an X ray made. I gave much time to the study of "the scientific statement of being," found on page 468 of the textbook. Three days later, when the X rays were taken, there was no trace of a diseased condition, and the dentist proceeded with the work, which was accomplished harmoniously.
