Feeling so grateful for all the love and help given me since I was introduced to Christian Science about two years ago, I should like others to know how much it has helped me.
At that time I was sick mentally and physically, and had been under a doctor's care for nearly three years without any good results. Deciding that something would have to be done to keep me from completely losing my mind, I answered an advertisement for daily help. Although I had quite enough work of my own to do, I felt I must get away from it all if only for a few hours, as I had very few friends and rarely went anywhere. When alone one day I cried aloud to God to help me. It almost seemed that the woman for whom I went to work was the answer to my prayer, for I had not been with her very long when I found she was a Christian Scientist.
About six months later she asked me if I would like to have a book which had been a very good friend to her, and which she felt would be just as good a friend to me. The book was "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I accepted it, and now would not be without it. At the same time I began attending the branch church here and studying the Lesson-Sermon. I soon began to feel very different. Lifelong indigestion and constipation left me. Acute depression and weariness also disappeared. Next I found I had been healed of a bad form of neuritis that had settled in my right shoulder after a dislocation.
