I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science, and for the many proofs which I have had of its healing power through prayer. Some of the healings were quick, others were slow, but through them all I learned much of the oneness of God and man.
Before coming into this Science I had been a medical nurse for nineteen years and was very active in that profession. I am happy to say that now I have the privilege of serving our Cause as a Science nurse.
When a young student in Christian Science, I swallowed a very fine chicken bone, which lodged crosswise in my throat. The pain left instantly when "the scientific statement of being" was declared (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. p. 468). Then it came to me very clearly that God fills all space, that all is therefore harmonious, that discord, inharmony, error, have no place therein. I held to these truths, and the bone removed itself.
