Through Christian Science so many blessings have been mine in a short period of time that I want to share these proofs of God's abundant love for man.
Although I had been born and brought up in a Christian Science atmosphere, and many beautiful instances of protection and healing had accompanied our family life, when I went away to college I did not take my stand for Science or turn to it for help. Foolishly I thought I got along well without it. I thought that present-day psychology, common sense, and a humanitarian attitude were all I needed.
When I met the one who later became my husband, and who knew nothing of Science, I felt we could build our beliefs together on the Bible alone. Those who even hinted that this would not be enough I felt were trying to come between my fiance and me. Our marriage followed, and my husband, who had been inducted into service, was shipped overseas shortly thereafter.
