By God appointed, she revealed the laws
Of Life and Truth and Love that govern man.
She proved the only Principle and cause
Is perfect God, sustaining perfect man
Beyond the reach of death and sin and pain.
She built her church on Truth's eternal rock,
Founded it high above the tides of sense.
She laid each stone with lock and interlock.
Its shining, love-lit towers, its sure defense,
Must draw all men through Love's omnipotence.
She clearly wrote with winged and glowing pen
The healing laws and truths to her revealed.
Who studies them shall find unlocked again
The Scriptures' treasures and anew unsealed
The springs of power by which the Saviour healed.
She followed Christ. In grateful love today
We follow her who knew both cross and crown.
We do not cling to person, but obey
The laws she loved and lay all burdens down,
Perceiving man forever at God's throne.
Discoverer, Founder, Leader, author, these
Four names of love and honor she has earned.
We gladly give and freely recognize
Each name, and so the truth is quickest learned,
The fullness of her message best discerned.
