Thank You, Father, for this feast
where inspiration is the wine,
not alone for me and mine.
Your potent truth is holy fare—
bread which hungering ones may share.
The Master's teachings all are stressed;
The Christ is here explained, expressed
through healing thought, through Love-taught word,
in order that the truth, unblurred
by prejudice, by pride or fear,
be given glad reception here.
Our Teacher's fourth beatitude
we understand, and gratitude
preceding each Love-feast is given—
for hours like this, for bread from heaven.
