Truth embodied in daily living shines of itself and is a guide to the uninstructed human thought turning Spiritward.
Some years ago I became friendly with a family whom I knew to be students of Christian Science, and I recognized that there was something intangible, but wholly good, which governed their household. I asked if there was a textbook on Christian Science which I might borrow. Upon my reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, a new world seemed to open up for me, and many-questions which had presented themselves even from childhood were satisfactorily answered. My husband became interested, too, and there followed many discussions, much joy, and proofs of physical healing. Later on we were sustained through a severe testing time with the help of a faithful practitioner.
Although at first I had been skeptical as to the healing power of Christian Science, I now experienced it and witnessed its efficacy. Still there was one aspect of Christian Science which I hoped I should never need to prove, for I felt I should be incapable of ever proving for myself God's law of ever-present supply. Yet it was just that which needed to be done.
