Poems

Supply

From the December 1951 issue of The Christian Science Journal

There is set a feast before me that shall grow not ever less,
A feast unseen by mortal eyes or mortal consciousness:
And the words of loving wisdom echo gladly through my mind,
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find."

And shall find, not just sufficient, but abundance of good things
In the Life that is of Spirit, in the joy that concept brings.
I will sit down with gladness to the ever-laden board,
And in gratitude and meekness begin, "I thank Thee, Lord."
