Many years ago it was my joy ful experience to find Christian Science; or, to be more explicit, it found me. My mental condition at the time I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was one of confusion and turmoil. I was on the verge of self-destruction, as I did not know which way to turn. However, through the study and application of Christian Science, my life has straightened out, and I am now joyous and free.
I have had many healings through the application of this Science. Some of them include the overcoming of the tobacco, liquor, tea. and coffee habits, the solving of financial problems, and recovery from a nervous breakdown. Many undesirable traits of character, such as resentment, jealousy, hate, and malice, have been eliminated. A disagreeable disposition, worry, doubt, and fear in many forms have been overcome.
I am grateful for all our literature. Not only is it inspiring, but it is educational as well. I am grateful for our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, for class instruction from one of Mrs. Eddy's students, for Christian Science, and for Christian Scientists. Membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church means much to me. I am deeply appreciative of the lectures and the work of the lecturers, who go throughout the world to spread the healing message of Truth. Honolulu, Hawaii.
