When I was a very small child, Christian Science came to our home, and I feel it is time to express my gratitude to God through a testimony in one of our periodicals.
Many years ago my mother was healed of cancer. Christian Science was very little known in those days, and her friends and the church which she attended were reluctant to recognize her healing. Nevertheless she clung to Christian Science and soon was able to help others. My mother later became a practitioner and was very active in this work for many years.
Christian Science has been of great benefit to me and to my two sisters. We experienced very few so-called children's diseases. I had the mumps for a few days and the measles for an even shorter period, and while I stayed at home, as the law required, there was very little discomfort experienced. I have had many other healings in Christian Science, some of which were quick, while others required more time.
