Testimonies of Healing

From the June 1951 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Psalmist writes (Ps. 107:8), "Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" Christian Science came into my experience through the growing desire to know more about God. The Bible had been my constant companion from early childhood. I was a member of an orthodox church and remained a worker in it until I gained the true sense of Church in Christian Science. Abundant good has continually unfolded for me since I have taken my stand for divine Principle.

One of my most cherished experiences came through the growing realization that our true home is in Mind, omnipresent Love. With the loving help of a practitioner I was soon led to a home where the Christ-consciousness is manifested and where peace and harmony reign. I am grateful for the tender and loving companionship of one who is a consecrated student of the Christ, Truth. Growth Spiritward has been a joyous unfolding as the result of this precious experience.

Membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, as well as the privilege of serving in the latter, is cause for much joy. To our Father-Mother God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, my gratitude is boundless.—
