The Psalmist sang (Ps. 103:2), "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits." I too praise and thank our Father-Mother God and shall never forget His great goodness in leading me to Christian Science, which was introduced to me in 1927. After taking up the earnest study of Science, I appreciated its great value, for life took on new meaning for me. When my husband passed on, although mortal mind suggested loss I had no sense of separation. Our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, writes of one of her students who had passed on, "But as the Christian Scientist, the servant of God and man, he still lives, loves, labors" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 295).
I have experienced many beautiful healings through the efficacy of Christian Science; some were instantaneous, others slow. My first healing, with the aid of a practitioner, was that of a painful attack of appendicitis. Then followed healings of heart disease, phlebitis, fallen arches, erysipelas, blood poisoning, melancholia, headaches, and the effects of an accident. I have relied entirely on divine Providence as my source of supply and have never been in want.
Through Christian Science I have become conscious of spiritual life and am happy to be a worker in the vineyard of the Lord. I shall never cease to be grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and for class instruction. I shall ever express my great gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, and to Mrs. Eddy through faithfulness to His Word.—Berlin, Germany.
