I am grateful to God for leading me to Christian Science. When my mother, to whom I had turned constantly for guidance and help in all I did, passed on a few years ago, the sense of loss was very great. My mother had become interested in Christian Science before her passing, and although I often read to her from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and had a copy of my own, I did not gain an understanding of Science at that time.
After her passing I was left quite alone. Then I turned to Christian Science for comfort, reading the Lesson-Sermons as given in the Christian Science Quarterly and seeking an understanding of what I felt to be the truth. Also I commenced attending a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, regularly, and the loving help and kindness I received from various members of that church will always be remembered.
I am grateful for the many proofs I have had of God's protection in the way of supply, for the harmonious purchase of my home after my mother's passing, and for guidance into work which is showing me how to demonstrate more of the spirit of Christian Science.
