The student of Christian Science becomes increasingly grateful to Mary Baker Eddy, who has given him the ability to gain spiritual understanding through the study of her writings, which contain the revelation of Truth. As he lives its teachings day by day, he proves his unity with God and has a part in the healing ministry of the Christ.
Today much thought and time is expended upon various treatments for all kinds of ailments. First one remedy is tried and then another by those suffering from the multitudinous beliefs of mortal mind. And yet the remedy for every ill that flesh is heir to is to be found in Christian Science. The testimonies published in the Christian Science periodicals, as well as the testimonies of healing given at our Wednesday meetings, furnish convincing proof that Christian Science heals the sick, the sinner, and the sorrowing and brings to thought comfort and peace.
Christian Science treatment is the activity of Love. It silences fear with its revelation and demonstration of God, good, as the only creator and cause. The Christian Science practitioner is learning to express Love by obeying the command of Jesus to love God with all his heart and his brother as himself.
