The Annual Meeting of The Mother Church convened on Monday afternoon, June 8. There was a large attendance of members from many countries. As at every Annual Meeting, sincere consecration to our beloved Cause was in evidence. A detailed account of the proceedings and the reports of our Church officers follows.
The opening hymn was No. 342 in the Christian Science Hymnal, "This is the day the Lord hath made." After the singing of this hymn, the retiring President, Lt. Col. Robert Ellis Key, read passages from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy:
