They Were Willing to Communicate

I Timothy 6:17, 18

From the March 1956 issue of The Christian Science Journal

We are the rich now. We are the ones
Who inherited "all things," the cherished sons
Charged to repudiate the "fables
And endless genealogies."

Not "uncertain" our estate,
But certain riches. To communicate
Our joy. We offer imperishable,
Not crumbling theologies.

Praise to the "living God" who gave
Us the power to heal and save,
Gave us lasting wealth which cannot
Lessen or be confiscated.

Praise to God! And thanks to all,
Including Timothy and Paul,
Whose Christian charity spared no effort
To have such things communicated.
