I began the study of Christian Science after my marriage to a student of this religion. In ten years of married life, the happiness, harmony, and protection that have been a part of our home have been due to the application of the truths that we have learned of God and of man's relationship to Him as revealed in Christian Science. We have demonstrated the substance of Spirit by realizing that our supply is not dependent upon a job and the income from that job, but is ever at hand in an infinitude of right ideas that come to us as God's angel thoughts. Through God's goodness, right ideas of home, transportation, and supply for class instruction in Christian Science have been made manifest in our experience.
Three children have been born harmoniously under Christian Science treatment. The doctor in attendance at one of the births gave full credit to my religion for the harmonious delivery, which was a painless one. With the help of loving practitioners and through our own understanding of Truth, we have had healings of skin trouble, high blood pressure, constipation, and severe sunburn.
Our little girl awakened one night unable to speak and gasping for breath. We called a practitioner and then read to the child from some Christian Science literature. Soon she was able to talk again. While repeating the Lord's Prayer, which she had learned in Sunday School, she fell quietly asleep. She awakened in the morning healed and ready to play.
