From the Treasurer of The Mother Church

Per Capita Tax is provided for by Mary Baker Eddy in the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. VIII, Sect. 13), reading as follows: "Every member of The Mother Church shall pay annually a per capita tax of not less than one dollar, which shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer." Payments may be sent during the year at any time between January 1 and December 31. Special printed forms are mailed annually to all members for their convenience in making payments. A receipt for the amount remitted is sent only if specifically requested at the time of forwarding the payment. Please inform the Treasurer of any change in your permanent address.

General Fund
Relief Fund (For General Relief Purposes)
Fund for Armed Services Activities
Charitable Institutions Fund

Contributions for these funds from members and friends may be sent direct to the Treasurer.

Members of The Mother Church desiring information in regard to the establishing of a trust fund should address their letters of inquiry to Roy Garrett Watson, Trustee and Treasurer of the Christian Science Trustees for Gifts and Endowments, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts.

ARTICLES AND POEMS

Religious articles and poems for the Journal, Sentinel, and Heralds, and religious articles for the Monitor are welcomed. Contributions are accepted only from members of The Mother Church and should be addressed to The Christian Science Publishing Society, Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department, One Norway Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts.

Articles for the Journal should average 1000 to 1200 words; those for the Sentinel 750 to 1000 words; and those for the Monitor 650 to 850 words. Freshness, originality, naturalness, variety, are prized. At least one quotation from the Bible and also one from our Leader's writings should be included in all articles. Leaflets containing helps for contributors are obtainable on request.

TESTIMONIES

Convincing testimonies of healing in Christian Science are welcomed for publication from members of The Mother Church and from students who are not members. If possible, they should be typed, triple spaced, on one side of the paper only and with wide margins. A testimony should be concise and include only the important points necessary to tell of the healing. Testimonies should be verified by three members of The Mother Church who have witnessed the healing or who can vouch for the integrity of the testifier. If the testifier does not know three members of The Mother Church, an affidavit, accompanied by verifications from one or two members, will be sufficient. Complete addresses of the testifier and of his vouchers should be furnished with the testimony.
