Because I am becoming more conscious every day of God's love, protection, and guidance, I wish to offer this testimony of sincere gratitude in the hope that other families may be benefited through the study of Christian Science as ours has been.
I am grateful that as a child I was taught the practical truths of Christian Science in our home and also in the Sunday School. I know it was a genuine love for this Science and its teachings that steered my husband and me out of the stormy seas of sensuous, indulgent living into the calmness and peace which only a life of practical scientific living can bring. During our married life of more than twenty-three years Christian Science has met our every need, whether it was physical, financial, mental, or moral. Our three children have been taught to rely on the practical truths in the Bible and in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and they have cherished this natural way of living as we have.
As a family sincerely studying to grow in spiritual understanding, we are having the happy experience of forgiving and loving one another and of endeavoring to express our true natures as the sons and daughters of God. It is truly a richly rewarding experience. Together we have witnessed the overcoming of so-called children's diseases, paralysis, infection, a dislocated bone, sprains, and other conditions, all of which were healed through our reliance on God.
