Christian Scientists acknowledge and worship one God as the creator of all, including the idea of Church. Therefore, the only concept of Church which is real, present, and true is the God-created one. Again, the only views of this spiritual Church are those seen through the lens of Spirit.
The spiritual concept of Church supports and promotes the divine revelation of scientific Christ-healing. The Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science and Leader of the Christian Science movement, Mary Baker Eddy, in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," defines "Church" as follows (p. 583):
"The structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle.
