Since I was five years old our family has used only Christian Science to meet all its needs. I had the wonderful opportunity of attending a Christian Science Sunday School until I was twenty years old, and now I am teaching in the Sunday School. Early membership in The Mother Church, in a branch church, and class instruction in Christian Science have brought blessings and inspiration untold.
We have experienced many healings through the application of this Science, including those of a distressing skin condition on the hands, periodic susceptibility to colds, sick headaches, so-called children's diseases, trench mouth, decayed teeth, nervousness, and anxiety.
One proof of the protective power of divine Love came when our young son, then just a year old, ate some weed-killing poison from the lawn. When I realized what had happened, I immediately turned to the truth of these words of Christ Jesus (Matt. 15:11): "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man."
