ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MOTHER CHURCH

The Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, held on June 6, attracted members from many parts of the world. They listened with interest to reports of officers and committees and to general reports from the Field as to the progress of Christian Science. Expressions of deep gratitude were voiced for Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and also for the widespread activity of the Church she established, which is today carrying the healing, saving message of the Comforter to every continent.

An account which sets forth in detail the reports and other activities of the meeting follows.

The meeting opened with the singing from the Christian Science Hymnal of Hymn No. 160, "It matters not what be thy lot," the words of which are by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. The retiring President, Mrs. , then read passages from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy:
